Catrina is the Chief Executive of our parent company, Ferguslie Park Housing Association and also has responsibility for working with the governing body of the Tannahill Centre to ensure it meets its strategic and operational objectives.
Paul Photo
Paul Irwin, Community Development Manager
Paul joined the Tannahill Centre in January 2017 as the Development officer, Paul oversees all aspects of the development and delivery of services within the Tannahill Centre, including managing staff, securing investment and ensuring that services delivered have an impact on the lives of local people. Paul is also responsible for any trainee positions within the centre. Paul delivers the Activate course in partnership with the University of Glasgow where he has a degree in community development.
Gordon Photo
Gordon Larkin, Community Development Worker
Gordon is responsible for the Facility officers, the day to day running of the entre, room bookings and customer service. Gordon joined The Tannahill centre as a community development worker. He started April 2020 just before lockdown. Gordon quickly adapted to his new role and showed he was a team player, stepping up where was needed during lockdown. Once lockdown eased, Gordon moved quickly to set up some of his groups. He assisted to set up the No substitute men’s group and once restrictions were lifted, he worked with a group of volunteers to set up the Tanny events team. Gordon also helps run the Participatory budget (Good Ideas Fund). This fund has benefited so many great projects within the community.
Bobbie Photo
Bobbie McCabe, Volunteer Co-ordinator
Bobbie works alongside volunteers to ensure that local people can volunteer with us in safe and meaningful ways. Bobbie uses a very organic approach to volunteering which means that we will look to find a role that suits the volunteers. Bobbie leads the Ferguslie community chior, which is a group of volunteers who regularly sing at events in the local area and have even performed for the King at the Coronation celebration.

Laura Mcauley, Youth Developmemt Officer
Having 13 years experience in youth work, Laura started working for The Tannahill Centre in 2021 initially leading the local youth group on Monday nights. Laura has since went on to become Youth Development Officer, continuing on with her established youth groups and developing new projects. She has developed the Youth Voice Group which make up our Young Volunteers in the centre. With Laura's support, the young volunteers have successfully planned and executed their own events in the centre and they are always willing to help work in partnership. Laura has supported the young people gain ongoing national accredited awards and volunteering awards as part of their learning journey. Laura is currently studying Community development at University of Glasgow.

Terry McTernan, Community Development Worker
Terry supports the Darkwood Crew, Community market and the Ferguslie seniors to achieve ensure these groups are sustainable,Terry is also working on a scoping exercise to bring together community groups and investigate the potential of communty asset transfers of unused buildings. Terry is currently in 3rd year studying community development at the University of Glasgow.

Christopher Johnstone, Senior Facility Officer
Chris (Spuggy) is responsable for the overall faciliies within the building, Chris also works with our unpaid work placements and is the chair of the no substitute for life mens group. Chris took part in our Activate course and is currently studying community development at University of Glasgow.

Christopher Tulloch, Facility Officer
Chrisopher is a one of our facility officers who will almost always be found with some zoflora in his hands, He jopined us in June 2023 and has since completed the Activate course and is now a qualified Community Chef.
John Photo
John McGregor, Facility Officer
John is our long standing facility officer who has a smile on his face, John makes the best tea in the tanny and can normally be found at the first table at any of the events we put on in the centre.
Rose Photo
Rose Hanson, Senior Cook
Rose works in the kitchen, preparing meals for the seniors lunch club, Soup for our 'T at the Tanny' and can also proivide catering for events in the centre. Rose has worked with a number of catering trainees giving them valuable experience and confidence which has led to positive outcomes such as further employment.

Cheryl Morris, Cleaner
Cheryl is responsible for cleaning within the centre, She is often heard whsiltling or singing, Cheryl is also part of the Chior and likes to volunteer and help out at events. Cheryl started as a volunteer and went on to complete a traineeship with rose in the kitchen.
